The membership consists of a wide age range, fromhigh school age to senior citizens.
Our Chapter is part of a national organization consisting of 112 Chapters across the nation.
Membership entitles members eligibility to a wide cariety of benefits, including membership in
a credit union, grouphealth insurance, group discounts, scholarships, etc. The San Jose Chapter also owns
and maintains the Issei Memorial Building (A City Historical Landmark) in San Jose Japantown
for use by the community. We also publish a quarterly newsletter with a distribution of 1600.
