San Jose’s First Ultra-Hip Au-Naturale Nail Salon Now Open

SAN JOSE, September 1, 2006 – Under the impression that affordable nail salons are basic with limited standards and zero ambiance? No longer. 

Sakura Nail Bar, San Jose’s first hip, bar-themed nail salon is opening its doors on Friday, September 1, 2006.  Located at 169 E Jackson Street in the center of Japan town San Jose, Sakura Nail Bar elevates the experience of getting manicures and pedicures to an entirely new level.  Specializing in natural nail care, both men and women can experience luxurious nail services without the odors of artificial nail enhancements.  To celebrate the grand opening, guests will receive a complimentary goody bag and can enjoy free champagne and gourmet chocolates for the month of September.

Dedicated to providing the finest and safest nail care, services will be performed only by skilled and licensed professionals.  Guests will receive pedicures in highly specialized SANIJET sinks, the only footbath certified sanitary by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation).  For manicures, guests will receive service at a custom built, 30 feet long, mosaic tile nail bar.  With the salon adorned in shades of blue and white, the cushioned lounge-like seats, silky white drapes, soft comfy pillows, and tiny blue mosaic tile all add to the sleek yet inviting décor.  In addition, the salon features three flat screen TVs, complimentary refreshments and a boutique filled with fun finds to entertain guests. 

Sakura specialties include the Mini-tini – manicure and pedicure service for the 12 year-old and under crowd, The Mojito – a refreshing manicure and pedicure service for men and the Signature Spa Treatment – the ultimate reconditioning treatment for the full pampering experience.  Prices start at $15 for manicures and $25 for pedicures. 

Sakura Nail Bar is also available to host private parties.  Reservations are gladly taken for bridal showers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, holiday parties, corporate functions, or any other special event.

Salon Hours:  Monday through Saturday - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
